[Okay, so Kazooie had finally experienced one of those experiment things. And it was actually kind of exciting! Weird, but exciting. She couldn't complain too much... except now things were back to normal. And boring again. What's a hero to do?

Why, go shopping, of course! This morning sees a breegull set out bright and comparitively early for the Item Shop, as she's done almost daily since she's come to Luceti. With the same kind of dogged persistence she uses to search for Jiggies, Jinjos, and the like, she's been trying to locate her backpack and kazoo. And now, finally, her patience is rewarded: the bright blue bugle-like kazoo, and the equally bright blue, Rare-symbol-embroidered backpack, are sitting right there on the shelf for her to claim. And claim them she does!]

Breeee!

[... Anybody in the vicinity might be drawn to the strains of a certain theme, played by the aforementioned instrument, or by the sight of a very excited-looking little red bird carrying a backpack as large as her entire torso.]

[Later on in the day, Kazooie sits down at her journal, intending to give voice to ideas that have been floating around in her head since the end of the draft.]

So, something I've been wondering for awhile - I know a bunch of the people here are good fighters, but how many of you are heroes? [She pauses for effect a moment, before elaborating on her explanation.] Y'know - goes out, rescues little girls from big ol' witches, finds peoples' lost stuff for them, collects a bunch of items, beats up bad guys who're threatening to take everybody's life force - stuff like that. I've met a couple other heroes, but I wanna know who else is kickin' around in this dump!

[This is partially scoping out her competition. But she has another motive, one she announces after a second of deep thought - well, for her, anyway.]

... Y'see, I've been thinking of throwing a party for us. A real party. Something with plenty of exciting stuff to do - 'cause it gets boring here sometimes when the Malnosso-guys aren't doing anything. That Rec Centre place was great, and I think it needs some livening up again! And it's up to someone as awesome as me to do it.

[With that, she smirks with satisfaction and leans back, waiting for the inevitable deluge of replies. ~~As if she'll actually get any.~~]

Pizza would be great too! Lots of different kinds of food - variety is always good to have!

[She cocks her head thoughtfully.] Isn't there some place called Azzip here that makes pizza?

Yep! Pommy's been there a few times, the pizza's really good!

You have? Tell me about it! [She hasn't had a good pizza in forever. ~~And not at all during her games...~~]

They've got all kinds of toppings for pizzas, like pineapples and jalapeno peppers. But Pommy likes their plain pizza, too -- it's got just the right balance of cheese and tomato sauce, and the crust is delicious!

Sounds like something I'll definitely have to try! [She is totally going to bug Azzip for a millet pizza or something...]

There's so much stuff here in Luceti I've never heard of before. And it's all free!

Yup! Since everything's free in Luceti, Pommy can try all sorts of food that Pommy wasn't able to before, like okonomiyaki!

Okomi-what-i? [Forgive her uncultured rudeness, Pommy.] What the heck is that?

Umm...it's kind of like pancakes, only it's not the kind of pancakes you put syrup and butter and jam on. You can put things like cheese, mayonnaise, and shrimp on it, and you can have someone cook it for you or you can do it yourself at a table! Pommy went with Usagi to the okonomiyaki place in Luceti, and we cooked our own food!

Huh... sounds pretty good, actually! Except mayonnaise on a pancake seems pretty weird...

[She has eaten stranger things before, though, so hey! Maybe it's better than it sounds.]

I bet I could cook something with Fire Eggs!

Fire Eggs? What're those? [Yes, Kazooie, explain the obvious to Pommy.]

... Eggs. Made out of fire.

[Um.]

I use 'em like ammunition! Like the rest of my Eggs.

Really? What other kinds of Eggs do you have?

[~~why does this sound like a come-on~~]

There's a whole bunch! You got the plain ones - Blue Eggs - and then you got ones that pack a special punch, like Ice Eggs - those freeze bad guys! - or the Grenade Eggs and Clockwork Kazooie Eggs - those both blow up but in different ways - and even Battery Eggs, which give enemies a shock and let me work some machines!

[It's... complicated.]

Myu, those sound kind of like Bomberman's bombs! He could make all sorts of different bombs, like ice bombs and wind bombs and lightning bombs. [Well, he could when he still had the Elemental Stones.]

It's too bad I can't just make Eggs whenever I want. That'd make some puzzles even easier!

[But alas, the limitations of video games.]

Puzzles? You mean like jigsaw puzzles? [What do Eggs have to do with jigsaws?]

Nah, we have Jiggies for those. [She tilts her head a bit, trying to think of how to explain this.] I mean puzzles like... stuff you gotta do to accomplish a goal. To get some important junk, or beat a certain dumb guy!

[Pommy thinks on it for a moment.]

Oh, okay, Pommy gets it now. Pommy saw Bomberman do things like back inside the BHB Army's black hole.

[This Bomberman is sounding more and more like the kind of guy Kazooie could get to like.]

Really? What kinda puzzles did he have to do? Did he have to use his bombs to blow holes in walls or somethin'?

Well, there was one time on Starlight where Bomberman had to use Tolbi's key cards in order to open the door to the Gravity Generator room.

[Oh, hey, security clearance! Kazooie has dealt with this. She just had to be a washing machine for it.]

Did he have to get the key cards in some big fight, or find 'em hidden behind a lot of dangerous stuff? 'Cause that's what I've had to do to get important stuff!

Actually, Pommy fought Tolbi for those card keys, myu! Tolbi told his guards to beat up Bomberman and Lilith so he could run away, but Pommy followed him! Pommy stole his card keys and then trapped him in a locker so he couldn't escape.

[This is actually more-or-less true. Well, more more-or-less true, at least in the mun's mutated version of the canon story.]

[... Pommy did this? Kazooie's torn between wanting to be impressed, wanting to be amused and wanting to just shake her head at the whole thing. In the end she does some combination of all three.]

... Man, Pomster, I didn't think you had it in you!

It was nothing! Pommy's a hero, after all! [And he really had been, that time. Amazing.]

[It almost feels like a bizarro-world...]

With stunts like that, you'd be a pretty darn good sidekick!

[No wonder Bomberman keeps him around!]
