[Kazooie shrugs.] Never knew exactly how they worked - they pretty much just do. It might be magic, but I've never seen Mumbo go near the pads - he's got his own.

... The Feathers could be magic though, but I never figured it mattered. I just use 'em, I don't need to know how they work!
